Maison Senato

The building is located on Via Senato, opposite the Palazzo del Senato, which today houses the State Archives, in the Quadrilatero della Moda area. The main façade blends seamlessly with the adjacent buildings, one designed by Marco Zanuso and Lucio Fontana, and the other at No. 15 of Via Senato, maintaining the architectural rhythm and alignment of the main elements, thus creating an urban patchwork. The façade, entirely cladded in travertine, frames the openings with rounded voussoirs and moldings.Maison Senato is a structure offering six large suites. On the ground floor, there is a spacious hall, a reception, a lounge bar, and a garden that extends along the internal facades, fully covered in greenery, as well as a terrace on the top floor. The upper floors are dedicated to five suites, one per floor, each approximately 200 square meters, and a two-level Penthouse with a panoramic terrace offering a 360-degree view of all of Milan. The first basement level houses services such as a spa, gym, kitchen, and offices, while the other two lower floors are used for parking. The layout of the apartments is the same across all five floors: a large living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two balconies. The finishes and furnishings vary between floors, with colors ranging from lighter to darker tones, depending on the natural light, creating a palette that intensifies as you go higher. This space was primarily designed to host people from all over the world, creating an atmosphere that embodies the essence and identity of Milanese style.
